SEO Manager — iGaming / Adult

Full-timeRemoteiGaming / Adult

Role overview

We're looking for an SEO Manager who will own organic growth as a product. This role is responsible for translating business goals into SEO strategy, structuring execution across teams, and ensuring consistent delivery of measurable outcomes.

You'll act as the central orchestration layer between SEO specialists, content, development, data and stakeholders — ensuring that SEO initiatives are planned, prioritised, executed and continuously optimised.

This is not a task-manager role. This is a systems-thinker and operator role.

Core mission

Build and operate a scalable SEO growth engine by:

  • Treating SEO as a product with a roadmap
  • Managing cross-functional execution
  • Driving accountability and performance across the team
  • Connecting SEO outputs to business outcomes (traffic, revenue, leads)

Key responsibilities

1. SEO as a product (strategic ownership)

  • Define and own the SEO roadmap aligned with business objectives
  • Translate company goals into SEO initiatives, epics and sprints
  • Prioritise initiatives using impact frameworks (e.g. ICE, RICE)
  • Continuously refine strategy based on data, experiments and market changes

2. Project & delivery management

  • Plan, structure and manage SEO execution across technical SEO, content production and link building / authority
  • Run sprint planning, backlog grooming and delivery tracking
  • Ensure deadlines, dependencies and deliverables are clearly defined
  • Remove bottlenecks and unblock teams

3. Cross-functional coordination

  • Act as the single point of coordination between SEO specialists, the Head of SEO and the SEO Project Manager
  • Translate SEO requirements into clear technical and content briefs
  • Ensure alignment between SEO and product / engineering roadmaps

4. Performance ownership

  • Define KPIs across organic traffic, rankings (by intent clusters, not just keywords) and conversions / revenue impact
  • Build reporting systems and dashboards
  • Identify underperformance and initiate corrective actions
  • Drive experimentation and continuous-improvement loops

5. Process & systems building

  • Design and implement scalable SEO workflows — content pipelines, technical audit cycles and internal-linking systems
  • Standardise SOPs and playbooks
  • Implement tools and automation where needed

6. Stakeholder & client management

  • Communicate strategy, progress and results clearly
  • Set expectations and defend prioritisation decisions
  • Translate complex SEO topics into business language
  • Act as a trusted advisor, not just a delivery manager

Ideal candidate profile

Experience

  • 3–5+ years in SEO (agency or in-house)
  • Proven experience managing complex SEO projects or teams
  • Experience working with developers and product teams
  • Background in product thinking or growth roles is a strong plus

Core competencies

  • Strategic thinking — understands SEO beyond tactics (systems, scalability, business impact) and can connect SEO efforts to revenue and growth
  • Execution & delivery — strong project-management discipline, comfortable managing multiple parallel initiatives, detail-oriented but outcome-focused
  • Product mindset — thinks in roadmaps, prioritisation and iteration cycles, and understands trade-offs and resource allocation
  • Technical literacy — solid grasp of technical SEO (indexing, crawling, site architecture) and content SEO (intent, topical authority, internal linking), and can communicate effectively with developers
  • Communication & leadership — a clear, structured communicator able to align stakeholders with competing priorities, and to lead without authority when needed

Tools & stack (expected familiarity)

  • Project management — Jira, ClickUp, Asana, Monday.com
  • SEO tools — Ahrefs, SEMrush, GSC, Screaming Frog
  • Analytics — GA4, Looker Studio, BigQuery (nice to have)
  • Collaboration — Slack, Notion, documentation systems

What success looks like

  • A clear SEO roadmap aligned with business goals
